SOUTH GRAFTON – Linda M. (Seymour) Arcouette, 71, passed away on Monday, March 21st unexpectedly at home, with her loving husband by her side.
Linda leaves her husband of 52 years, Gordon “Skip” Arcouette; two sons, Troy Arcouette of Millbury and Chad Arcouette and his wife, Misty of Rochdale; four grandchildren, Christina, Nicholas, Jared and Lexie; two great grandchildren, Makenzie and Kamila. She also leaves a brother, Allen J. Seymour of Oxford; two sisters, Charlene M. Seymour and Marie E. Seymour both of Oxford. Linda is predeceased by three brothers, Herbert, Lawrence and Walter Seymour.
Linda was born in Worcester, the daughter of Herbert F. and Mary (Germain) Seymour. She lived most of her life in Worcester and worked in the city until she met the love of her life “Skip” whom she married in 1969. Linda dedicated her life to raising her beautiful family and her greatest memories were the times spent with family and friends. Linda’s hobbies included bingo, playing cards, baking and late-night TV shopping.
Linda’s greatest passion was her love of the Christmas holiday. Nothing could light up a room like Linda’s smile on Christmas morning, as she enjoyed watching her family open all the presents that she so carefully collected and purchased all year long. Linda was a kind and loving person, who will be missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends will honor and remember Linda’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, March 24th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
Her funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, March 25th at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street in Millbury. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
