Larry O'Connor

MILLBURY – Larry “Shadow” O’Connor, 65, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 7th peacefully at home.

He leaves his wife, Joan (Kasputis) O’Connor; a sister, Mary Lee Watson, a sister cousin, Linda Pitcher and an uncle, Stanley all of St. David’s, Bermuda.  Shadow also leaves his best friend and brother, Scottie Dellisola of Derry, NH and extended family, Jolene and Matt Newhouse of San Diego, CA, Haley and Cory Lapierre of Millbury and his furry companion, Sammy.

Shadow loved sport fishing, especially for Marlin, and won many tournaments.  He had his own fishing boat called the “White Shadow” and a small construction company. Larry belonged to the Masonic Lodge in St. George’s and Hamilton, Bermuda.  He also served on the fire department in Bermuda.  Larry enjoyed horse racing, NASCAR, traveling and antique cars.  Shadow was a man of few words but would help anyone.

Family and friends will honor and remember Shadow’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Tuesday, Oct. 30th from 2 to 3 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.

His funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will be private.
