Kenneth was married to the love of his life, Janice Corey, until her passing in August 2019. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love, faith and devotion, and we find comfort in knowing they are now reunited in God’s eternal embrace.

Kenneth served four years in the Army National Guard achieving the rank of Sargent. He founded and owned both Kor-Vend Vending Company and Presidential Limo Service. Ken was also a member of the Millbury Frogman Dive team. He also served on the board of the Elm Hill Water Committee. Ken also was a member of the Northboro Lion’s Club and was elected president in 1984-85.

Ken loved sports and competition. As a young child Kenneth took up the sport of boxing and won the N.E Golden Gloves Championship in the 14-15 age group. He was a star pitcher for the Millbury baseball team under coach Big Jim O’Leary. Later in life he played for many years in the Millbury Softball League (Gagliardi Elect). Another of his other favorite pastimes was scuba diving for lobsters.

Ken had a lifelong love for New England sports, especially cheering on the Red Sox and the Patriots. He enjoyed the excitement of every game and the memories made while sharing his passion for sports with those around him. Ken was a baseball coach for his son’s baseball team for many years. He took great pride in playing an active role in his children’s sporting lives, rarely missing a game or event. But above all else, his favorite athletes were his two grandsons, John and Nick. Watching them play brought him his greatest pride and joy, and he was their biggest fan from the sidelines, always cheering them on and supporting them every step of the way.

Ken cherished time with his family above all else. When the children were younger, they would enjoy spending Christmases in Disney World. He and his wife shared a love of cruising and created countless treasured moments together with Ken’s siblings and their spouses.

After the passing of his beloved wife, Kenneth was blessed to find companionship and friendship with Maryanne Sirard. Their relationship brought him comfort, joy and many meaningful moments during the later years of his life. His family is forever grateful for the love, devotion, and friendship she gave him, and for the happiness and support she brought into his life.

Kenneth was a beautiful soul-a kind, loving and compassionate man who would do anything for anyone in need. His generosity, warmth, and caring nature touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence will be deeply missed, but the love and memories he leaves behind will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

Family and friends will celebrate Ken’s life by gathering for his Funeral Mass on Tuesday, July 14th at 11 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street, Millbury with burial to follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
