Kendell Larson

MILLBURY - Kendell R. “Buddy” Larson, 90, a longtime resident of Millbury, Ma passed away on February 10th, 2023 after a long illness.

Ronald is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Frances T. (Morgan) Larson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Buddy was preceded in death by a brother, Richard E. Larson and two sisters, Elayne E. O’Neal and Dorothy B. Howard. Buddy was born in Millbury, son of Emma M. (Weidman) Larson and Edward A. Larson.

He was a proud Millbury High School graduate in the year 1951. He played football, baseball and basketball and was captain of the basketball team. Buddy enlisted in the United States Air Force for four years serving in the Military Police overseas. Following his tour of duty he was employed for 30 years by the United States Postal Service until retirement. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion. Buddy also coached Millbury Little League teams and town basketball teams.

Family and friends will celebrate Buddy’s life by gathering for his Funeral Mass at 11:30 am on Tuesday, Feb. 21st in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street in Millbury. His burial with military honors will follow in St. Brigid Cemetery, Millbury.
