Kathleen A. Dandridge

December 10, 1958 — July 25, 2023

WEBSTER

WEBSTER - Kathleen Ann Dandridge, 64, passed away on July 25th surrounded by family after battling a

long illness.

Kathy was born on December 10, 1958 and grew up in the town of Millbury. Kathy’s outgoing personality was a perfect fit for the various jobs she held in retail and customer service throughout her life.

Kathy married the love of her life, Franklin K. Dandridge on June 26, 1993 and they recently celebrated 30 years of love and life together.

Kathy loved life to the fullest through simple pleasures. She enjoyed cooking and crafting, loved a good movie or a trip to the beach in Maine, and caring for her dog Rosie.

Of all of the accomplishments Kathy made in her life, focusing in on what’s most important, would be the impact she made on everyone she met. She was known to befriend people in a way that made them feel as if she’d known them her whole life. She considered her close friends as an extension of her own family, often having her children refer to her friends as their “aunts” or “uncles” or “cousins”.

Despite her many struggles, Kathy was known for putting the concern of others before herself. She exuded love because close relationships are what she valued most in life. Kathy would light up and talk a mile-a-minute if she received a visit or phone call from family or friends. Kathy’s character was also loud, which she demonstrated both verbally and in her outer appearance, having been known for her many shades of purple hair and bright colored clothing. If you were close to Kathy, you never had to question what she thought of you or how much she loved you because she made it most obvious.

Kathleen’s life will be cherished in the lives of her family. Her husband Franklin Dandridge; her son Brian Roberts, daughter-in-law Lydia Roberts and grandchildren Gabriel and Anna Roberts; her son Jeremy Roberts and granddaughter Jerzi Roberts; her brother Richard Roberts, and nieces Tanya and Alana Roberts; her brother Michael Roberts, sister-in-law Ellen Roberts, nephew Michael Roberts II, his partner Lauren Croteau and great nephew and niece Caleb and Kylie Roberts; her sister Lisa Kerswell, nephew Nathan Kerswell, his wife Caitlin, and great niece Dakota Kerswell.

Family and friends are invited to honor Kathy’s life and selfless love by gathering for a time of visitation on Monday, August 7th from 4 to 7 PM, followed by a funeral service at 7 PM, both at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main St. Millbury, MA. This will conclude all services.
