GRAFTON - Katherine M. (Mason) Miner, 99, of 229 Brigham Hill Rd., North Grafton, died Monday, April 29, in her home.
Her husband, Wilfred Miner died in 1993. She leaves a brother, Francis J. Mason of North Grafton; nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by a brother, Wilfred T. Mason and a sister, Irene G. Lowe both were of North Grafton. She was born in North Grafton, daughter of George and Jane F. (Kelly) Mason and has lived here all her life. She graduated from Grafton High School in 1917 and then attended Becker Business College in Worcester. Mrs. Miner was married in 1927
Mrs. Miner worked at the former A. B. Curtis Co., the Norton Co., the former Worcester County Dairy Co all in Worcester and for Leon J. Barrett in East Millbury, prior to 1928.
She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, in Worcester and the American Association of Retired Persons.
The funeral will be held Thursday, May 2, from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, ( www.mulhane.com ) with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St., Worcester Burial will be in St. PhilipTM)s Cemetery, Grafton. Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity.
