Karen M. LaBrie, 62, passed away Sunday, March 6th at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester after battling cancer for a year.
Karen leaves her son, Jason Panarelli with whom she lived; a brother-in-law, John "Bud" McElroy of Sutton; her niece, Carrie Boudreau and her husband, Kevin of Oxford; two great nieces, Devynn and Carli both of Oxford. She is predeceased by her parents, Frank X. and Gladys T. (Beeso) LaBrie, her sister, Jean McElroy and her nephew, Jeff McElroy.
Karen worked as an account payable representative at Lightower Fiber Network of Boxboro for seven years. She danced for many years and owned Karen LaBrie Dance Studio, to share her talent with students. Karen loved spending time with her family, friends and her grand fur baby, Klohe.
Karen's calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 10th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main Street in Millbury.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, March 11th at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Central Cemetery in Millbury.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association Donation Processing Center, P.O. Box 7000, Albert Lee, MN 56007.
