SUTTON Joe Gillespie, 47, of Sutton, died Sunday, June 12th when his heart stopped at the close of a day of riding his 1978 Harley Davidson Shovelhead.
He leaves his mother, Lucienne M. (Arell) Gillespie, his son Joe Gillespie Jr., with whom he lived, his daughter, Leah M. Gillespie and his sister, Phyllis M. Charpentier all of Sutton.
A private funeral Mass will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The family respectfully request that JoeTM)s many friends please refrain from visiting and calling over the next few weeks to allow the family time to grieve. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gillespie Children Memorial Fund, in care of the Millbury Federal Credit Union, 50 Main St., Millbury, Ma. 01527. A remembrance memorial bike run is being planned for August/September. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury is assisting the family with arrangements.
