John P. Erickson

MILLBURY - John P. Erickson, 79, passed away with his wife by his side on Sunday August 27th in UMASS Medical Center in Worcester.

John leaves his wife of 40 years, Diane Erickson, children, Peter Erickson and his wife Lisa Volpino-Erickson of Northborough, Heather and her husband Brandon Benson of Maryland.

John attended and graduated from St Peter-Marian High School and graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Durfee Tech in Fall River, formerly Bradford Durfee College of Technology.  He worked for Myers and after 30 years retired from GE, where he traveled and worked in many countries.  John’s family would like to thank all the nurses and staff at UMASS Medical Center for all their care and dedication over the years.

Family and friends are invited to remember and celebrate John’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, August 31st from 9 to 11a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, please contribute to a charity of your choice.
