WEBSTER - Joan C. (Charette) Goyette, 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 23rd after a brief illness. She was a longtime resident of Millbury.

Joan’s husband, Robert W. Goyette passed away in 2015. She leaves a son, Robert F. Goyette and his wife, Lora of Millbury; four daughters, Cheryl A. Seymour of Webster, Dian L. Mardirosian and her husband, Kenneth of Dudley, Laura Jean Feige and her husband, Paul of Thompson, CT and Suzanne M. Barnhill and her husband, Jeffrey of North Myrtle Beach, SC; She had nine grandchildren, Richard, Kristen, Lisa, Kenneth, Julia, Taylor, Erin, Samantha, and Jake: ten great grandchildren Calvin, Keshawn, Mia, Kaidyn, Raelyn, Nolan, Lilliana, Nyla, Maverick and one on the way in July. She is predeceased by a son-in-law, Richard C. Seymour.

Joan was a Private 1st Class in the US Army. She graduated in May of 1974 from Assabet Valley School of Practical Nursing in Westborough as an LPN, and attended David Fanning Trade School for Pharmacology, while taking care of her 5 children.  She loved bingo, puzzles, word search, adult coloring books and trips to Vegas with her beloved husband Bob.

Family and friends are invited to attend Joan’s graveside service on Friday, March 10th at noon in Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster Street in Worcester. Following the graveside service, we invite you to the VFW on 16 S. Main St, Millbury.
