Janet Gabree

MILLBURY – Janet C. (Carlstrom) Gabree, 77, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Monday, March 8th in UMASS Medical Center.

Janet’s husband of 48 years, Richard F. Gabree passed away in 2011.  She leaves two daughters, Cheryl A. Vecchio and her husband, David and Christine M. Marden and her husband, Stephen all of Millbury; five grandchildren, Michael Vecchio and his wife, Nicole, Kayla Vecchio, Keith, Danielle and Matthew Marden; two great grandchildren, Andrew and Olivia Vecchio; a sister, June Johnson and a brother, Edwin C. Carlstrom, Jr.; many nieces and nephews.

Janet was born in Worcester and the daughter of Edwin C. Sr. and Rose M. (Racicot) Carlstrom.  She worked for the Millbury VNA as a Home Health Aide for many years.  Janet was a faithful parishioner of St. Brigid Church in Millbury.

Janet’s funeral service has already been held privately with her family.
