Jane E. Jones

MILLBURY - Jane E. (Collins) Jones, 82, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026 in Millbury, Massachusetts.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1944 to John and Helen Collins, she lived a joyful life centered on family, friends, and the activities she loved, including knitting, crafts, and Mah Jong.

Jane married Thomas L. Jones in 1965, and together they shared 61 wonderful years of marriage while raising their three children: Karen Jones (and wife Randi Finkelstein) of Port St. Lucie, Florida; Michael Jones (and wife Lynne Jones) of Skaneateles, New York; and Christine Lindgren (and husband Scott Lindgren of Millbury, Massachusetts).

Jane’s greatest joy was her family. She cherished her three children, seven grandchildren—Packy (Julianne) Jones, Mitchell (Jessica) Jones, Connor Jones (Serena Allen), Riley Jones, Alexandra Lindgren, Megan Lindgren (Walter Emann), and Tynan Jones (Mandee Padrazo)—and four great-grandchildren, Summer and Landon Jones, Maris, and Baby Boy Jones.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Collins; her brother, John Collins; and two sisters, Maureen Rainey and Alice Bowker.

Family and friends will remember Jane’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, June 25th from 9 to 10:45 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. 

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on the same day at 11:30 a.m. in St. Mark’s Church, 356 Boston Road, Sutton with burial to be private.
