James W. Salo

MILLBURY - James W. Salo, 78, passed away on Monday August 5th after a brief illness. 

Born on December 11, 1945 to the late V. Victor and Mildred (Davenport) Salo. 

Jim is survived by his wife, Donna Salo (Peladeau) of 37 years, daughters Wendy and husband Jeff Vaillancourt, Tracy Salo and partner Larry Froment, sons Brennan Salo and Justin Salo all of Millbury, his sister Janice (Salo) Whittier of Sutton. Jim also had 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother, Richard Salo, sister Ruth Grundstrom, and stepdaughter Laurie Nordstrom.

Jim graduated from Millbury High School in 1963. He worked at Norton Company, Bill White’s Tire Company, Millbury Motors, and Whittier Farms. Anyone that knew Jim, knows family was most important. May we always remember his amazing sense of humor, his love for all animals and his heart of gold. He will be missed immensely by everyone.

Family and friends are invited to remember and celebrate Jim’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, August 15th from 4 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.
