WORCESTER – Harold W. Richardson, 82, died peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 10th in his home, after an illness.
He leaves his wife of 35 years, Lois E. (Knox) Richardson; four step-children, Carol Chesitis of Sutton, Donna Blakeney of Cape Cod, Kenneth Dubois of Worcester and Judith Veroneau of Worcester; his care giver and friend, Edward Garceau; his longtime CNA, Elisha Beatty; three sisters, Marion, Margie and Mary Alice; his children, Debra Chumsae of Auburn, William Richardson, Neil Richardson of Arizona, Sherri Fay of Auburn, and Lisa Wise; many grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, Werner W. and Aledia C. (Reil) Richardson, a brother, Verner Richardson, a sister, Shirley and a step-son, Barry Dubois.
Harold was a welder for A.J. Lane Company for many years before he retired. He was a member of the Massachusetts National Guard. He enjoyed gardening, working at his home and traveling with his wife.
