SUTTON - Gregory Peter Lange, 74, passed away on July 13, 2021 peacefully at home after a long illness.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cheri A. (Bazinet) Lange and four sons, Gregory P Lange Jr. and his wife Mary, Brendin J. Lange, William J. Lange and his partner Glenn Scott, and Jamie C. Lange, and one grandson Kameron. He also leaves his brother William J. Lange and his partner of 34 years, David Breton. Born in Worcester to the late William J. Lange and Irene R. (Lynch) Lange Aubin.
Greg grew up in Millbury and moved to Sutton where he finished his last two years of high school. Greg also resided in South Grafton. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army where he became a communications specialist. Greg served in Thailand and Vietnam during the Vietnam War.
Through the years, Greg worked at ComGas, and then moved on to work for the airlines at Worcester and Providence airports. He worked at Lange Rest Homes, from 2001 to present.
He was a lifetime member of the Upton V.F.W. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Family and friends will honor and remember Greg’s life with a time of visitation on Monday, July 19th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 20th at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mark’s Church, 356 Boston Road in Sutton. Burial with military honors will follow in Central Cemetery, Millbury.
