SUTTON - Gerald “Jerry” David Baillie, 73, died suddenly on November 5, 2025.
Jerry was born in Methuen on February 22, 1952, to Elinor Jewett/Bettencourt. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1969.
Jerry enlisted in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, serving as a bomb loader in Guam. He graduated from Quinsigamond Community College with a degree in accounting and worked in that field shortly before pursuing an Electronic Tech Certificate. He worked for tech companies until he joined Digital. Jerry worked as a Hardware Engineer for over 30 years.
Currently retired, Jerry enjoyed traveling, camping in Baxter State Park, DIY projects, target shooting and attending his son’s Civil War Reenactments.
Preceded in death by his mother Elinor, stepfather Ralph Bettencourt, brother-in-law Phillip Savage and sister-in-law Kathleen Baillie.
Survived by his wife Linda Baillie, Children Sara Baillie Graff (Christopher Graff) and Ian Baillie, Sister Judith (Markeseines) Savage, many nieces and nephews who loved “Uncle Jerry” and a future grandson.
Jerry was the heart and soul of his family. Jerry touched the heart of everyone who knew him. He will be sorely missed.
Family and friends will honor and remember Jerry’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Friday, Nov. 14th from 4 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.
His burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 17th.
