Gary Young

MILLBURY – Gary L. Young, 68, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, Feb. 25th.

Gary leaves his wife of 47 years, Brenda J. (LaChance) Young; his mother, Beatrice Young of Pepperell; four children, Patricia O’Connell and her husband, Thomas of Millbury, Gary Young, Jr. and his significant other, Maria Castaldi of Northbridge, Melissa Vorce and her husband, Billy and Tammy Young all of Millbury; nine grandchildren, TJ, Cody, Jacob, Will, Kayla, Gianna, Bella, Giulia and Ferrari; a great grandson, Jackson;  a sister, Robin Day and her husband, Ron of Pepperell; a brother, David Young of Pepperell; many nieces, nephews and friends that became family.  He is predeceased by his father, Clarence Young.

Gary worked in construction his entire life.  He loved fishing, gardening, yard work and camping every year at Salisbury State Park, where he enjoyed striper fishing.  Gary also enjoyed going to yard sales, flea markets and yearly trips to the Woodstock Fair but nothing made him happier than spending time with his family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather for Gary’s Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 4th from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Dudley Gendron American Legion Post, 156 Boston Road in Sutton.
