MILLBURY – Frank N. Cammuso, 93, passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, November 25th after a long illness.  He was a lifelong Millbury resident.

He leaves his loving and devoted wife of 68 years, Connie A. (Laime) Cammuso, three grandchildren, Stephen Cammuso and his wife Jill of Sutton, Daniel Cammuso and his wife Ariel of Webster and Jonathan Cammuso of Millbury, three great grandchildren, Lily, Lucia and Benjamin Cammuso, two daughters-in-law, Kathleen Cammuso-Boucher and her husband Roland of Mendon and Rita Cammuso of Millbury, a granddaughter-in-law Erica Cammuso of Charlton, a sister Rosalie Bennis of Shrewsbury, two brothers, Albert Cammuso and his wife Jackie of Worcester and Nicholas Cammuso of Charlton and many nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Jennie (Monfreda) Cammuso, two sons, Frank Cammuso and Michael Cammuso Sr., a grandson Michael Cammuso, two sisters, Philomina Felice and Frances Ciampaglia and four brothers, Paul, George, Angelo and Andrew Cammuso.

Frank was a supervisor at Camosse Brothers in Auburn where he worked for 42 years. He also worked as a supervisor for Foster Masonry in Acton for 8 years, before he retired.  He was very handy at fixing things but his main interest was in wood working.  He did exceptional and meticulous carpentry work.  He was very helpful to many people assisting them with many of their projects.  Frank loved spending time with his family whether it was birthdays, holiday gatherings, a cookout or just a simple Sunday afternoon visit.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European African Middle Eastern Theater with the 259th Infantry Division. He was also a member of the Charles F. Minney V.F.W. Post in Millbury.

Family and friends will honor and remember Frank’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Friday November 30th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.  His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday December 1st at St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street, Millbury.  Burial will follow at St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of American, 7 Mill Brook Road, Wilton, NH 03086.
