Francis Hisoire, Sr.

MILLBURY - Francis R. Hisoire, Sr., 96, passed away peacefully on Monday January 31st in his home, surrounded by family.

Francis was the husband of the late, Ruth (Stacy) Hisoire and was born in Worcester.  He was the son of the late, Victoria and Clovis Hisoire.  He leaves sons, Francis Jr. and Paul, daughter in laws, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Francis loved his yard and home.  He was always fixing his home or out working in his garden.

He was active in the former Men’s Club of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and was a former cub scout leader at the church.

He proudly served in the United States Army Antiaircraft Artillery Battalion during World War II. Francis earned the Victory Medal, Good Conduct Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon and the American Theater Campaign Ribbon.

All services will be private.  There are no callings hours.
