As his children were growing up he enjoyed family outings to the local lakes, attending flea markets and summer vacations to the beach. He also enjoyed making his wife Mary as happy as possible their 60 years of marriage. In more recent times he enjoyed watching Nascar racing, New England sports, making jigsaw puzzles, completing word searches, and family meals. He will always be remembered for his bear hugs and heart of gold.
