MILLBURY - Elvira “Cookie” P. (Leone) Greenwich, 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 11th.

Elvira is predeceased by her husband of over 45 years, Thomas F. Greenwich and her seven siblings, Daniel, Anthony, Robert, Jeanne, Margaret, Barbara, and Patricia.

Elvira leaves her two sons, Anthony Greenwich and his wife Natalie of Millbury, and Mark Greenwich and his partner, Kari of Northbridge; five grandchildren: Alicia, Anthony, Matthew, Joseph and Jonathan Greenwich along with many nieces and nephews.

Elvira loved baking, cooking and was an avid reader. She looked forward to all the holidays and was known to have everything prepared ahead of time. Everyone loved her famous Italian cookies. She also enjoyed watching the Red Sox and vacationing in Hampton Beach.

Family and friends are welcome to celebrate and remember Elvira’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, April 16th from 5 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. 

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 17th at 10:30 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street, Millbury with burial to follow at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
