Elizabeth Thurlow

MILLBURY – Elizabeth “Beth” R. Thurlow, 53, passed away peacefully at her home on March 12th following a period of declining health.  She was born to Benjamin J. Thurlow, Jr. and Ann E. (Marble) Thurlow.

Beth was a lifelong resident of Millbury and was educated through the Millbury school system.  She attended Fitchburg State College as an undergraduate.  Over the years she worked for Charter Communications, the Town of Grafton and most recently UHealth Solutions located in Shrewsbury. Beth enjoyed doing crafts, knitting, meeting and talking to new people.  She will be missed for her kindness and incredible sense of humor.

Elizabeth will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend.  She leave her mother, Ann (Marble) Thurlow, brother, John Thurlow, her nieces, Kristy Richards and her husband, Matthew and Abigail Thurlow, her grandniece, Natalie Richards.  She also leaves her uncle, Alan Marble and her aunt, Kathleen (Flynn) Marble and cousins, Charlie Marble, Paola Marble, Martha, David and Jonathan Brockway.  Beth is predeceased by her father, Benjamin J. Thurlow, Jr. and her cousin, Andrew Marble.

Family and friends will honor and remember Beth’s life by gathering for calling hours on Thursday, March 22nd from 3 to 5 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.

Her celebration of life will follow at 5 p.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will be private.
