Dr. Ann Marie Murray

WORCESTER- Dr. Ann Marie C. (Pats) Murray, 46, passed away in her home after a long illness on January 7th.

Ann Marie leaves her husband of 21 years, Sean P. Murray and their two children, Gavin J. Murray and Gianna A. Murray; her parents, Peter J. Pats, Jr. and Christine (Rabidou) Pats; a sister, Pamela J. Pats all of Worcester; her uncle, Leon Rabidou of Plymouth; a cousin, Kyle Paganelli of Southbridge; her best friend, Tara Barranco of Worcester; her brothers and sisters in law, a niece and three nephews who she deeply cared for. She also leaves her beloved yellow labs, Tanner and Rain.

Ann Marie earned her bachelor’s degree at Providence College and her doctorate degree in psychology at University of Hartford. She was a Clinical Forensic Psychologist, working in Worcester and surrounding area court systems.

Ann Marie loved visiting the Disney Parks and everything Disney brought her joy. She enjoyed trips to Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester with family and friends. Every holiday was an adventure for her, decorating, cooking and making them special for her family.

Ann Marie was proud of her Italian heritage and spent a month in Italy traveling with her sister. Most of all she loved being a mom, whether it was watching her daughter dance or her son play volleyball she treasured every moment with them.

Family and friends will honor and remember Ann Marie’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Tuesday, Jan. 13th from 5 to 8 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. 

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday Jan. 14th at 10 a.m.in St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 939 Main Street, Worcester with burial to follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. 

Those attending the Funeral Mass are asked to go directly to the church.
