Donald H. LeBlanc

MILLBURY - Donald H. LeBlanc, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5th at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester.

Donald leaves his wife of 43 years, Elizabeth (Reeves) LeBlanc; children, Danny and Patricia of Worcester, Dwayne and Dawn of Worcester, Douglas and Cathy of Sharon, Doreen and Hans Vander Keyl of Florida, Darren of Spencer, Denise Boudreau and Will Sweeney of Paxton, Dionne Bachand of Worcester, Michael Giroux of Millbury, Mark and Elisa Giroux of Charlton, Michelle and Jeff Vassar of Charlton; along with 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Don is predeceased by a son, David LeBlanc and a daughter, Dawn Marie LeBlanc. Also predeceased by his sister Madeline and brother Roger, survived by his sister Valerie of Worcester.

Don worked as a chemist for Norton / Saint-Gobain for 40 years. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade and went on to classwork at Northwestern University. Don loved the water, especially the ocean, and owned several homes on the water throughout his life. After retiring, he spent 25 years in Florida seasonally and enjoyed every minute of it. Don enjoying the sunshine on his face, taking bike rides, and many days at the beach. The family Christmas party was a day he always looked forward to. On that day he was able to see all of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in one place.

Don made many friends over the years wherever he went. Don will be remembered as being very warm and caring person with a big smile on his face, greeting everyone as a friend. His impact on this world will be felt for many years to come, as he has built a large family legacy.

Family and friends will remember and celebrate Don’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Monday, June 15th from 4 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. His funeral service and burial will be private.
