Diane Burke

MILLBURY – Diane Marie Anna (Ducharme) Burke, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, January 4^th.

Diane’s is predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Charles J. Burke and two sons, Richard A. Burke and John C. Burke.  She leaves a son, Charles A. Burke and his wife, Joanne of Millbury; one grandson, Sean M. Burke; many nieces and nephews.  She is also predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Lucienne Ducharme; a brother, Alfred Ducharme; two sisters, Madeleine Healy and Suzanne Mallet.   

Diane worked for UMass Memorial Hospital for 22 years as a register nurse before retiring in 2000.  She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandson.  Diane was a faithful parishioner of St. Brigid Church for many years and enjoyed going to the Millbury Senior Center with her husband.

Family and friends are invited to remember Diane’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Tuesday, Jan. 9^th from 8:30 to 10 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.  Her funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street, Millbury.  Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery, Millbury.
