LEICESTER - Derek J. Powers, 29, died Saturday, June 21st after being stricken ill.
He is predeceased by his parents, Dean J. and Debra J. (Riani) Powers. He leaves a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves his maternal grandmother, Patricia (Jones) Powers, who resides in California.
His calling hours are Saturday, July 12th from 2 to 5 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. A eulogy will be read at 3:00 p.m. Burial with his mother and father will be private in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes, 112 Turnpike Rd., Suite 102, Westborough, MA 01581.
