Denise Boudreau

Denise Boudreau, 70, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026, after a courageous battle with lung cancer, surrounded by her family's love.

Born on March 30, 1956, Denise dedicated nearly 40 years of service to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, beginning her career in December 1986. Over the years, through transitions from DPW to Mass Highway and eventually to MassDOT, Denise remained a hardworking, devoted employee whose dedication and commitment touched many.

Denise was predeceased by her husband, Phil Boudreau, the love of her life, who passed away in December 2019. Together, they shared 36 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to one another.

She leaves behind her loving daughters, Heather Comptois and her husband, Scott Comptois, and Brooke Wrenn and her husband, Scott Wrenn. Denise was a proud and devoted grandmother to Abigail Comptois, Aaron Comptois, Madison Wrenn, and Kennedy Wrenn, who brought her endless joy and pride.

Denise also leaves behind her loyal and cherished best friend, Linda West, whose friendship and support meant so much to Denise throughout the years.

Known for her quiet strength, caring heart, and selfless love for her family, Denise fought her illness with incredible courage, grace, and determination. Her love and memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

One of Denise’s greatest concerns in recent years was ensuring others had enough to eat. To honor her caring spirit, the family invites friends and loved ones to donate food or contribute to a local food pantry in her memory.

Calling hours for Denise will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N Main St, Millbury, MA 01527. 

A Celebration of Life service will follow at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
