MILLBURY - Daniel J. Donovan, 70, passed away June 9th, 2022 at Mass General Brigham’s Hospital in Boston, MA after a long illness.

Son of the late Robert A. and Jeanette M. (Francesco) Donovan of Millbury. Dan is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda (Moore) Donovan and two children. His son Brendon and wife Meghann and their two children of Bloomfield Hills, MI. His daughter Danielle and fiancé Mitchell of Seattle, WA. He is pre-deceased by his brother Robert M. Donovan and leaves behind two brothers, James and Michael Donovan of Millbury as well as several nieces and nephews.

Dan was born in 1952 in Worcester, MA and spent the majority of his life as a Millbury resident. He graduated from Millbury Memorial High School in 1970 and then Mass College of Pharmacy, Boston, becoming a Pharmacist in 1975.

Dan proudly owned and operated an independent pharmacy, Winthrop Apothecary, in Worcester, MA for over 30 years.  He also served on the Board of Directors of the Vernon Medical Center in Worcester, MA for many years.

In his healthier years, Dan spent his free time traveling and working outdoors. He enjoyed being on the water at his home as well as the ocean, boating, fishing and entertaining in the company of many friends.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dan’s life by gathering for his Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 18th at 10 a.m. in St. Mark’s Church, 356 Boston Road in Sutton.  His committal service will follow in West Millbury Cemetery.
