MILLBURY

MILLBURY - Claudia C. (Snow) Renauld, 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 24 due to a brief illness after a lifelong battle with Sjogren’s Disease.

She leaves behind her devoted husband of 68 years Robert Renauld; two children, Cathy Cody and her husband Bill, and her son Michael Renauld; two granddaughters, Patricia Buzanoski and her husband Marcus, and Lisa Cody and her partner Ricardo; as well as her two great grandsons, Desmond and Maxwell Buzanoski. She is survived by her sister Dolores Bolivar and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Arthur and Desange Blanche Snow, and her brother Robert.

Claudia was born in Worcester and lived in Grafton, graduating from Grafton High School in 1954. She moved to Millbury to raise her family and settled in with a lifelong career as a homemaker and volunteer in her children’s school and local hospital. She participated in local women’s bowling leagues for many years and loved singing and dancing. She had a talent for arts and crafts including drawing and painting, sewing, quilting, crocheting and knitting. She was an avid reader and enjoyed daily crossword puzzles.

A world traveler, Claudia visited 49 states and over 60 countries throughout her lifetime. She leaves her family with unforgettable memories, most notably the times spent traveling the USA and Canada alongside her husband and children during their youth.

Her fitness journey began in 1980, preparing for a trip to the Swiss Alps. For decades, she dedicated herself to working out several times a week until recently. She was an admirable celebrity at her local gym and treasured the friendships she shared with her “Gym Family.”

She will live on in our hearts as a sparkly fashionista and a true queen of diamonds. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by everyone who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to remember and celebrate Claudia’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Friday, July 31st from 9 to 11 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. Her graveside service will follow at Noon in St. Philips Cemetery, 74 Millbury Street, Grafton.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to the Sjögren's Foundation at www.sjogrens.org
