Cassie E. Fox

MILLBURY – Cassie E. Fox, 37, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 3rd surrounded by her loving family after being diagnosed with cervical cancer.

Cassie leaves her son, Cameron R. Fox-Ceurvels; her father, Thomas J. Fox of Millbury and his partner, MJ Fors of Boylston; her mother, Lisa R. Fox of Holden; her two sisters, Eryca McCann and her husband, Frankie of Holden and Ashley Frustaci and her husband, Anthony of Worcester; nieces, Mackenzie Swanson and her two sons DJ & AJ Swanson, Hailey Rooney, Ariana, Madison, and Morgan Frustaci. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Cassie loved being a stay-at-home mom to her son Cameron. He was her entire world. She was an amazing coach for Cameron’s soccer team each year he played. Cassie and Cameron would go on walks to talk about “nature,” she taught him how to ride his bike which he loves to do, and they also enjoyed watching movies together. In the summertime they loved to swim. She loved bringing Cameron to meet his Grampy “Bampy” for breakfast on the weekends at Cake Shop Cafe in Millbury.

When she was younger, she grew up being a gymnast at R&R gym. She loved it, she cartwheeled everywhere when she was little, eventually the cartwheels turned into flips. Her love for gymnastics helped her become a cheerleader for Millbury High School. As she grew older, she loved playing soccer at Teamworks for the Sandy Pond Club team. Cassie loved to go thrift shopping and eat lobsters with her mom. In her spare time, she enjoyed making crafts and painting anything she could pink and black with rhinestones for her loved ones.

The family would like to thank the amazing staff at UMass Memorial Hospital and UMass University Hospital for their compassion and care of Cassie.

Family and friends will remember and celebrate Cassie’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Wednesday, Sept. 9th from 4 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. Her funeral service and burial will be private.
