Bruce O. Hervieux, 59, formerly of Millbury, passed away after a short illness Saturday, Dec. 2nd at UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
Bruce leaves three children, Joshua Mayotte of Rutland, Mindy Lent of Millbury and Justin Mayotte of Sterling; three siblings, Sherryann Cadell and her husband, Doug of Millbury, Joseph A. Hervieux, Jr. and his wife, Paula of Webster and Joann Daigle of Millbury; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a son, Derek Hervieux.
Bruce enjoyed fishing at the canal and working on computers. He was advocate for the Native American culture, a friend of Bills and a Matt Talbot brother. Bruce was a member of the National Guard for 14 years. The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors of the 7 ICU for all their care and support.
Family and friends will honor and remember Bruce’s life by gathering for calling hours on Thursday, Dec. 7th from 4 to 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
His funeral service will follow the calling hours at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
Please omit flowers and contributions may be made to the family; funds will go towards funeral expenses.
