Beverly Scobie

MILLBURY - Beverly A. (Maynard) Scobie, 74, died Sunday, July 17th in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.

Her husband, Michael F. Scobie died in 1995. She leaves a sister, Carol Froment and her husband, Kenneth of Worcester; two brothers, William Maynard of Sutton and James Maynard of Rhode Island; nieces and nephews; two long-time friends, Robert LaPan and Danny Ginitis. Beverly was born in Grafton and is predeceased by her parents, Laurence and Gladys (Caustonguay) Maynard, a sister, Barbara Auger and a brother, Kenneth Maynard.

Beverly was a home maker, and made many kitted articles for her family and also donated them to school children in the Millbury schools. She loved the Red Sox and was a CB radio operator.

Beverly's calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday July 21st at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in private in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury.
