MILLBURY – Betty Ann (Pietro) Ryan, 85, passed away on Wednesday, October 3rd surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness.
Her husband, Edward E. Ryan Jr. passed away in 2010. She leaves three sons, Edward E. Ryan III of Auburn, James F. Ryan and his wife, Donna of Worcester and Michael S. Ryan and his wife, Shawn of Millbury; two daughters, Patricia A. Taft of Dennisport and Kelley A. Willard of Auburn; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; five siblings, Joan Lombardozzi of Leicester, Nancy Paquette of Westboro, James Pietro of Charlton, Teresa Pietro and Robert Pietro both of Leicester; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Ralph and Eva (Gauthier) Pietro and three brothers, Ralph, Richard and Dennis Pietro.
Betty Ann enjoyed going to the casinos and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Stephens Church in Worcester. Betty Ann was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Family and friends will honor and remember Betty Ann’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Tuesday, Oct. 9th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Oct. 10th at 10 a.m. in St. Stephens Church, 357 Grafton Street in Worcester. Burial will follow at Central Cemetery, Millbury.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the choice of the donor.
