MILLBURY - Beatrice R. (Maranda) Tessier, 78, formerly of 21 Sycamore St., died Tuesday. Dec. 17,. in St. Vincent Hospital, at the Worcester Medical Center, Worcester.
Her husband, Ovide J. Tessier, died in August. She leaves two sons, David J. Tessier of Millbury and Paul J. Tessier of Harwich; a sister, Beverly Caissie of Rutland; two grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Rose Maranda and has lived in Millbury most of her life..
Mrs. Tessier was a school bus driver in Millbury for 20 years before she retired.
She was a member of St. Brigids Church and the Auxiliary of the Charles F. Minney Veterans of Foreign Wars Post. She also did volunteer work at the former Providence House Nursing Home and Meals on Wheels for the Millbury Senior Center. She enjoyed bowling and gardening .
The funeral will be held Friday Dec. 20 from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., ( www.mulhane.com ) with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigids Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in Central Cemetery.
