Barbara L. Mastrapasqua

MILLBURY - Barbara L. (Dupre) Mastrapasqua, 91, formerly of Valrico, FL passed away peacefully at home on June 26, 2024.

She leaves three devoted children, Maurice Mastrapasqua Jr. and his wife Nancy of Leicester, Russell Mastrapasqua and his wife Kate of Millbury, Julianna Randell and her husband John of Millbury, her son-in-law Mitch Hixson of Brandon, FL, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren with one more on the way. She is also survived by her three brothers Joseph Dupre and his wife Judy of Louisville, KY, James Dupre and his wife Janice of Tuscon, AZ and Robert Dupre and his wife Mary of Tuscon, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life Maurice Mastrapasqua Sr., her son Joseph Mastrapasqua, her brother Nelson Dupre Jr. and her sister Julianna Fewings.

Barbara was born and raised in Worcester daughter of the late Julianna (Depanian) Baker and Nelson Dupre Sr. She moved to Millbury where she raised her family and worked as the head cook at Happy's Restaurant for a number of years before she retired. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and playing games on her tablet. She loved music and Broadway musicals. Her favorite was Les Miserables which she watched over and over again. She was a warm loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family and taking care of her animals. She would always say she had a wonderful life. Barbara was a joy to be around, always lifting people up simply by her positive nature and that contagious giggle.

Family and friends will honor and remember Barbara’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Saturday July 13th from 9 to 11 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals. 

Her funeral service will be celebrated following the visitation at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with burial in Central Cemetery, Millbury.
