Barbara H. (Fitzgerald) Gagliardi, 78, passed away Dec. 23nd in North Carolina, surrounded by her loving family.
Her husband of 55 years, Leonard F. "Lenny" Gagliardi died in 2012. Barbara leaves a son, Albert J. Gagliardi and his wife, Yvonne Bucholtz of Lorton, VA; a daughter, Linda Gagliardi-Ross and her husband, Thomas of Winterville, NC. She also leaves a sister Shirley Hanson and husband Raymond of Auburn; a brother, Robert "Bobby" Fitzgerald of Gardner; a sister Elaine Padeni and husband Butch of Worcester; and a sister-in-law Rose Fresolo and husband "Mike" Gazzaniga of Millbury; several cousins, nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Joseph A. and Helen J. (Hawkins) Fitzgerald, two brothers, Joseph and David Fitzgerald and sister-in-law Antoinette DiGiulio Harmon.
Barbara was office manager for the former Gagliardi Electric in Millbury. She also worked for UPS where she was a member of Teamsters Union Local 170.
Barbara was an avid golfer and reader. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining for friends and family and loved to travel.
Funeral and burial services will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury.
