MILLBURY – Barbara A. (Gates) Dewey, 85, passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, Oct. 11th in UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
Barbara is predeceased by her husband, George F. Dewey, Sr and her son, George F. Dewey, Jr. She leaves her longtime friend, Rita M. Gonya of Millbury and many other friends and fellow members of the Millbury Baptist Church.
Barbara was a registered nurse for many years.
Barbara’s funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Millbury Baptist Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 222, Millbury, MA 01527-0222.
