She leaves behind grandchildren, Sophia Connor, Dylan Grenier, Tyler Grenier, Christine Hipp-Duque and Christopher Hipp.  She is survived by her sister, Carol Pagnano of Whitman, MA and her cousin, Bob Sampson of Brighton, MA and many nieces and nephews whom she loved.

Barbara lived in Quincy, MA from 1970 and later in Millbury, MA.  She will be fondly remembered by her neighbors who have been a huge support system for Barbara and her children. In particular, the Connor family would like to thank Ann Levins and her son for their caring hearts and selfless efforts to help Barbara in her later years.

Barbara loved to garden, crochet and cook.  She graduated from Quincy College and Quincy Beauty Academy.  She enjoyed her career working at John Hancock Insurance, Quincy Public Schools, Filene's, Sears, and Movado.  Barbara loved Quincy, taking landscape photos, walking Wollaston beach and going to farmers markets.

Barbara will be celebrated over the summer, per her request, with a joyful garden party.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you plant something in your garden (yellow roses were her favorite) or make a donation to Salvation Army.
