WORCESTER – Arthur F. Carlstrom, 82, died Thursday April 20th at the Webster Manor Healthcare Center, after a long illness.
He leaves his wife of 53 years, Lillian A. (Soulor) Carlstrom; a brother, Lawrence Carlstrom Jr. and his wife, Michelle of Brentwood, NH; two sisters, Janet Carlstrom of Wallingford, CT and Judith Palmieri of Orange, CT; many nieces nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Lawrence L. and Florence (Little) Carlstrom and a brother, Robert Carlstrom.
Arthur was a graduate of Cheshire High School in 1958. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran and entered the service in 1958 and was promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal and was honorably discharged in 1962. He then worked at Worcester Pressed Steel for 18 years, before they closed and then went to work for United Tool in Millbury before he retired after 20 years. He loved gardening, the Boston Red Sox and the Boston Patriots
Friends and family are invited to his graveside service on Friday April 29th at 11 a.m. in Notre Dame Cemetery, 162 Webster St. in Worcester, (Section, St. Anne). Memorial Contributions in his name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
