April Joann Bickel

MILLBURY - April Joann (Brooks) Bickel, 82, passed away on February 2, 2024, after a short illness.

She was born in Worcester, Ma. On February 22,1941 to the late Joseph and Victoria (Rondeau) Brooks.

April lived in Texas for more than 40 years prior to moving to Millbury in 2002.

She leaves a daughter, Deborra McLean, a sister, Christine Bott of Millbury, three grandchildren Angel, Matthew and Tina Jo Castleberry, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild and several nephews.  April also leaves a good friend Gil Picard.  She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, David Brooks and a grandson, James Castleberry.

April enjoyed reading and playing cards and the occasional glass of Merlot.

Per her wishes, there will be no services.
