SUTTON– Anthony “Tony” Barron Sr., 45, passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Thursday, April 7th after a courageous battle. His battle with medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile.
Tony leaves his three children, Myla, T.J. and Makenna of Sutton; his mother, Cynthia (Rano) Kelley of Worcester; his father, Kenneth Kelley Sr. of Millbury, his siblings: Tanya Barron of Leicester, Katie Dufresne and her husband Tim of Webster, and Kenneth Kelley Jr. of Oxford. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great aunts and his caring girlfriend, Roxana Kennedy.
Spending time with family was very important to Tony. He loved taking day trips with his children, creating his own recipes in the kitchen, and coming together with the extended family for social gatherings. Besides his love for his family, Tony’s greatest joy was being a member of the Sutton Fire Department and serving the community. Even when unable to actively serve the town, Tony spent many hours listening to the ongoings on his scanner.
Family and friends will remember and celebrate Tony’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Tuesday, April 12th from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury. Burial will be private.
The family request flowers be omitted, and memorial contributions may be made to UMASS Memorial in memory of Anthony Barron to support patient care at donate.umassmemorial.org.
