She leaves a loving daughter Diane Brisson and her husband Stephan, a devoted son Tim Boutilier and his companion Linda McGuirk all of Millbury; six grandchildren: Heather (Boutilier) Stoddard and her husband Michael of Sutton, Matt Brisson and his companion Jayne Drummey, Ashley (Brisson) Rajchel and her husband Shawn, Ryan Boutilier, Adam McClintock and his fiancé Karen Weatherbee, and John McClintock all of Millbury; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, James W. and Mary (Janovsky) Cristo, as well as five siblings, James W. Cristo Jr., Joseph F. Cristo, Thomas N. Cristo, Helen B. Warren, and Beatrice M. Trombowicz. She was also predeceased by her daughter In-law Lynn M. (Elliott) Boutilier as well as several nieces and nephews.
Marge worked at the Spinning Mill in West Millbury where she met Boots. They raised two beautiful children together, they were her constant source of pride and joy. She lived her whole life on Dorothy Pond, where her Mom & Dad established homes for her and most of her siblings.
When the grandchildren came along her and Boots were thrilled, they attended every recital, football, baseball game or anything the kids were involved in. Summer traditions included vacationing at Hampton Beach with her kids, and then continued with the grandchildren, and the great-grandchildren. Getting together with the family was her fondest thing to do.
Her most recent treasured job was being the family Matriarch of Cristo Village, tending to all the family still residing on Cristo Lane. She was our trusted confidant, Mom, Gram, Baboo, Auntie, and Best Friend. Marge’s home was always open, and full of love. She loved cooking, making galumpkis and knedlikys for the family, or teaching the grandkids how to make fried dough and apple strudel. Marge’s plaque on the wall said “Come into my kitchen & chat with me while I prepare a cup of tea”, she loved reminiscing with family, and provided so many great memories and wonderful times. She maintained her own home and remained in her home until her passing. Marge was a strong, independent, kindhearted woman who devoted her life to her family. She will be dearly missed as the last of the Cristo family siblings!
