MILLBURY – Everett E. Turner, 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 18th surrounded by his loving family.
Everett’s wife of 65 years, Ruth L. (Elander) Turner passed away in 2013. He leaves three children, Nancy J. Packard of Millbury, Stephen A. Turner and his wife, Patricia of Marlboro and Cheryl A. Fields of Millbury; five grandchildren, Stephanie Landgren, Kristin McCarthy, Vanessa Fields, Linnea Maselli and Michael Fields; five great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Everett was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II. He was a member of the Morning Star Masonic Lodge of Worcester for over 65 years. Everett was also a member of the Greendale Men’s Club of Worcester and the Shriner’s for many years. He was Massachusetts State Police Officer for two years, a Worcester Central District Court Officer and Worcester Juvenile Court Officer for 30 years. He was also a Master Plumber for over 30 years. Everett enjoyed golfing, football and reading. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and trips with them to Cape Cod.
Family and friends will honor and remember Everett’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Sunday, Aug. 26th from 3 to 6 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury. His funeral service and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the
