SHREWSBURY – Samuel Parsekian, 79, died Sunday, July 5th in the Shrewsbury Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
He leaves a sister, Helen Scricco and a niece, Cheryl Sedota, both of Myrtle Beach, SC;
two nephews, Robert Parsekian of Worcester and his caregivers, John P. Parsekian and his great niece, Jennifer Turner both of Millbury; two great nephews, John and Jason Parsekian of Millbury and a great niece, Nichole Parsekian of Rutland . He is predeceased by his parents and a brother, John "Jack" Parsekian.
Samuel worked at Person Majestic Co. in Worcester for many years, before retiring due to illness and was a volunteer at the former Memorial Hospital in Worcester. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Armenia Apostolic Church in Worcester.
His graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9th in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster St. in Worcester. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to UMASS Memorial Hospice, 650 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. Mulhane Home for Funerals in Millbury is assisting the family with arrangements.
