SUTTON - Marie (Polachi) Chabot, 79, of 12 Marsh Rd., died Friday, August 1, in St. Vincent Hospital, at the Worcester Medical Center, Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 42 years, George H. Chabot; a brother, Charles A. Polachi of Falmouth; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Charles and Grace (Hines) Polachi and has lived in Sutton for many years. She graduated from Classical High School in Worcester and Regis College in Weston.
Mrs. Chabot was a teacher for the Worcester School Department for several years, retiring in the early 1960's.
She was a member of St. MarkTM)s Church and was an active sewer and quilter. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and boating, in the Falmouth area.
The funeral will be held Monday, August 4, from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury ( www.mulhane.com ) with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. MarkTM)s church, 356 Boston Rd. Burial will be private in Howard Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, August 3, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, ma. 01701.
