MILLBURY James Rogers, 48, of 4 Benton St., died Monday, Jan. 8th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, after a long illness.
He leaves his companion, Fatima "Tina" Correia of Millbury; a daughter, Emily Rogers and his former wife, Anita Rogers both of Worcester; a sister, Kathleen Wilson of Laconia, NH; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Leo and Josephine A. (Mikelonis) Rogers.
Mr. Rogers had been a taxi cab driver in Worcester for many years. He and his father enjoyed fishing together.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15th in Central Cemetery, Millbury. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association 330 Congress Street Boston, MA 02210. Mulhane Home for Funerals, Millbury is assisting the family with arrangements.
